This page explains how Peak Clinical uses text messaging to communicate with participants and prospective participants, and how to manage your messaging preferences.

Your Privacy Matters: Peak Clinical will never sell, rent, or share your mobile number with third parties, affiliate marketers, or data brokers. Consent to receive messages is never required to access our services or participate in any study.

How We Use Text Messaging

Peak Clinical uses SMS text messaging to communicate with individuals who have expressed interest in participating in clinical research. We may send the following types of messages:

General Account & Service Messages

Updates related to your intake submission, appointment reminders, study status notifications, and other account-related communications directly relevant to your participation in our research programs.

Marketing Research Opportunity Messages

Marketing messages about new studies that may match your health profile, enrollment openings for trials you have expressed interest in, and general research news from Peak Clinical.

Consent & Opt-In

You will only receive text messages from Peak Clinical if you have explicitly provided your mobile number and checked the applicable consent box on one of our forms. Separate opt-ins exist for account-related messages and marketing messages — you may opt into one, both, or neither.

Providing your mobile number without checking a consent box does not enroll you in any messaging program. Consent to receive text messages is not required to submit an intake form, receive services from Peak Clinical, or participate in any research study.

Message Frequency & Rates

Message frequency varies based on your enrollment status and the research opportunities currently available near you. You may receive anywhere from one to several messages per month depending on activity.

Standard message and data rates from your wireless carrier may apply to messages you receive from us. Peak Clinical does not charge any fees for SMS communications.

How to Opt Out

You may opt out of text messages from Peak Clinical at any time using any of the following methods:

After opting out via STOP, you will receive one final confirmation message. No further messages will be sent unless you re-enroll by providing consent again.
